TEACHERS’ DIRTY LOOKS are back this week.

The Keyport and Union Beach school year begins Thursday and continues Friday with an early dismissal each day.

To help with that transition, the Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry is collecting all the supplies a student in every grade from Kindergarten to 12th grade might need to start the year off right.

Backpacks are in high demand.

Here’s a sample of the other items the ministerium is collecting:

  • Spiral notebooks.
  • Composition Books (the marble kind).
  • Two pocket folders of any color.
  • Binders and loose leaf paper.
  • Rulers, pens and pencils.
  • Crayons, glue sticks scissors.

Donations can be dropped off at the food pantry at Community Church on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The entrance is off Elizabeth Street between Osborn and Divisions streets.
