KEYPORT, Nov. 21 — The Pro Wrestling Syndicate put on a spectacle in the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church gymnasium.

The show, one of several run throughout Central Jersey, raised money for the church. Promoter Craig Lospaluto, of Aberdeen, gave 25 percent of his ticket sales back to the parish, where he attends weekly Mass.

“It’s a whole lot better than just sticking money into an envelope for the bishop’s annual appeal,” he said.
