The 2015 Screamin’ Country Jamboree is underway at Waterfront Park and it continues through Sunday.
If you’re heading down to the fair, send us your photos. We’ll share them on social media and the best will be used to build a photo gallery of the two-day event. Here’s a breakdown of what’s happening:
Saturday afternoon features a square dancing demonstration and lessons from 1:30-3:30p.m. the Middletown Ramblers Square Dance Club. Saturday evening ends in a bang with a fireworks bonanza beginning at 8p.m.
These are the Saturday musical acts:
- 11am: Hallowed Roots
- 1:30 p.m. — Barry Ryan’s Rockabilly X
- 4:00 p.m. — Marc Muller’s Grateful Jamband
- 6:30 p.m. — Citizen’s Band Radio
The annual Chili Cook-off and Tasting will be held Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Taste and vote for your favorite to be crowned Chili Champion of Keyport. The winner will be announced at 5 p.m. Chili tasting kits are available Sunday at a cost of $5 only at the Keyport Bayfront Business Cooperative’s welcome tent at the jamboree fairgrounds.
